Holy Trinity Newsletter                                  22/01/2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

I had a wonderful meeting with our Junior Leadership Team this morning who were brimming with ideas of how they would like to mark and celebrate the school’s 150th Anniversary in June. If any of you are, or know of ex-pupils or teachers, do get in touch as we would love to compile their memories and invite them to a special picnic in the summer. We are also in the process of launching this year’s Headteacher’s Award programme to children in year 4, 5 and 6 to support our values, further develop an understanding of good citizenship and be better prepared for life beyond Holy Trinity.

Best wishes

Alison Bateman

School and PE Uniform. We have been doing some uniform checks in school this week especially for PE and a lot of the children are not wearing the correct uniform. Trainers should be PLAIN black, navy or white with no other colours. Tracksuit bottoms should be navy and not grey or any other colour. Leggings are not part of the PE or school uniform. We will be checking daily and emails will be sent home to those not in correct uniform.

Chaplains Message Mistaken identity: Evan Davis had been interviewing experts about TV cameras possibly being allowed in UK Crown Courts for the first time on the radio last week - Only to introduce the wrong Robert Shapiro! It was an embarrassing moment for the BBC presenter, but the wrong Mr Shapiro went onto answer his question and somewhat save his blushes. In Ephesians 1 we see that, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing; we have been chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, grace-lavished, and unconditionally loved and accepted. It's clear there is no mistaking how much God loves us here!
