Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your support in making World Book Day so memorable – we had a wonderful parade first thing on Thursday morning when he whole school had the opportunity to admire each other’s outfits and identify which character they were dressed as.

We are in the throes of Science Week this week and are looking forward to creating some temporary art installations from your excess packaging tomorrow. Could you please send in your clean, excess packaging to the 3G in the morning – be prepared though, you are likely to get some sent home as we do not have the facilities to recycle it all at school. Whilst we are all busy washing our hands frequently our #Live Lent focus this week is water, the challenge being to care for our local waterways but also to be grateful for this amazing gift we often take for granted. With Covoid-19/Coronavirus still dominating the news, we continue to follow and share the advice that we are given and try to prepare for any changes in circumstance that could possibly arise. We would be very grateful if you have any queries or health concerns that you would raise them directly with the NHS on 111. Many thanks for your support with this.

Best wishes

The workshop will focus on defining and understanding anxiety; noticing anxiety; vulnerability and protective factors; what parents can do to help and when to seek additional support. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 1st April from 6 - 7pm. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to book a place.

School meals. Please make sure that you are up to date with your payments for this term. We still have a number of parents that are sending their child with a packed lunch on occasion when they should have a cooked meal. We aren’t able to offer school meals on an ad-hoc basis. Children should either be having a cooked meal or packed lunch every day. If you would like to change your child’s meal arrangement, please give a week’s notice at the office.
