Dear Parents and Carers,

We are all very excited about the Christmas Fair on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who is working so hard to prepare a real treat for the whole school community. The aim is to use the funds raised to purchase a more modern minibus.

The reception children had a wonderful time at their autumn party on Friday – thanks again to Lisa Moody and all the other parents who helped.

Important Information  “The Power of One“.  This was a very powerful performance that helped the children to think through their behaviour and its consequences. It empowered the children to get help if they saw others being treated unkindly. Part of the KS2 performance was about cyber bullying. Many of our year 5 and 6 children told the performers that they had Facebook accounts or were on WhatsApp and the like, in order to have these accounts the children must have lied about their age and they are potentially putting themselves at risk of cyberbullying or exploitation. Please do have oversight of your child’ on line communications. We are very grateful to the PTA who funded these performances.

FINALLY: We thought it would be a good moment to remind you just how brilliant you are as a parent community. Here are a few things bought this year with the money YOU have raised: Major Library Refurbishment – pls take a look on Saturday Mini Bus – yes, we are getting a new/2nd hand minibus paid for by PTA Anti-Bullying workshop - visited HT last week, funded by PTA Ping pong tables/Basketball & Netball Hoops/Playground equipment   Plus… social events which are a great chance for us to meet up as a community.

Many thanks to Lisa and Kelly for organizing the brilliant Reception Class disco last Friday.

Huge thanks as always and we’ll see you all on Saturday 11.30am – 3pm. Your PTA Committee (Julian, Sonia, Kelly, Sandra, Anu, Wolfgang, Leigh, Lisa & Lucy!)
