Holy Trinity Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers,

Well done to Eagle Class for their lovely assembly on Friday. Although I wasn’t able to see it on Friday I had managed to see the dress rehearsal and I heard all about how well it was received. Excellent Eagles!

We all enjoyed the “Sharing our Learning” session last week. It was so nice to see parents and siblings celebrating the work that goes on in school. The next date is the 12th July. We hope that you have also found this week’s parent/teacher meetings useful.

I was delighted to hear that our very own Mary Evans has had her book, “Who Let the Gods Out”, chosen as the Waterstones Children's Book of the Month for February. Well done Mary!

We wish you all an excellent half term.

Best wishes, Penny Cox

Richmond in Bloom - School Poster Competition. Pupils are invited to take part in the Richmond Borough in Bloom 2017 poster competition which has now been launched.  The competition provides a great way for children and young people to express their artistic talents and to learn more about their natural environment. There has been a very high standard of artwork each year and it is clear that there are some very creative young artists in the borough. Here is a link to the electronic version of the flyer and entry details.

Valentine Bake – TODAY!

Many thanks for ALL the goodies you have kindly brought in this morning – we are always bowled over by your baking efforts as we know it is never easy to find the time when you have small kids.

Kelly, our PTA Secretary, and Sonya, our PTA co-chair will be setting up outside the Main Hall from 3pm onwards.  PLEASE do go along and help if you have free time before pick up as the more helpers the merrier.  And don’t forget to go and BUY cakes!  Most cakes are 50p and it is all for a great cause

We will also be running a 2nd cake sale after school on Thursday for all the left over cakes etc.  Any cakes left over after this will be distributed to The Vineyard Community Centre.

Bingo Night: Friday 24th February

Don’t forget to buy your tickets.  You may have seen Kate Meikle (Year 5 & Year 1) and Lucy Darke (Year 6, Year 5 & Reception) selling tickets in the playground this week so please stop them if you want one or if it is easier drop your money into the office.  It is going to be a brilliant night so DO come along and support the PTA.  Tickets are £5 with a cash bar on the night.

 Happy Fridays

Angela Regazzoni (Max, Leopard Year 6, Mia, Seal Year 2 & Felix, Nursery Rainbow) is running Happy Fridays this Friday so do come along to keep her company or maybe give her a hand!  We are loving our NEW coffee machine which was sourced by Nicole’s (Jaguar) Dad – a huge thank you to Philipe.

If you fancy running a Happy Fridays coffee morning just let Lucy or any of the PTA know or just add yourself to the Doodle poll below:

Finally…. Don’t forget to cast your vote on the proposed new School Photograph package.  Having received many complaints about our current school photograph provider we are looking at a new product.  You should have received an email via your Class Reps but link is below. It is a simple yes or no question.  There are some hard copies of the photo booklet in the office if anyone wants to have a look. If you have any extra comments on this you are welcome to email PTA on: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
