Holy Trinity Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last week we received a letter from Nick Gibb, the Minister of State for School Standards, congratulating us our “outstanding achievement in the 2017 phonics screening check”. The phonics screening check is a test that is taken in Year 1. In 2017, 95% of the school at Holy Trinity achieved the pass mark of 34 or more, this puts us in the top 8% of schools nationally. Well done children and thank you for all the support with helping the children to learn their sounds at home and of course a huge thank you to our teachers for their commitment and hard work.

With best wishes,Mrs Cox
