Holy Trinity Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you so much to Zebra Class for their wonderful assembly. It was very inspiring and certainly will make us think, and hopefully act, about what we can do to preserve our planet.

Year 4 had a wonderful time on their residential trip to Sayer’s Croft, thank you to the staff who took them.

You will have seen that Holy Trinity’s new head teacher will be Mrs Alison Bateman. I am looking forward to spending time with Alison to make the transition as smooth as possible.

This morning we had a wonderful science assembly on states of matter and temperature. Please ask your child about it.

Thank you to all the parents who have completed the Annual Questionnaire –we’ve had about 50 back so far, but we want to get at least 150 responses. There is a chance that you could win a £30 M&S voucher! You can leave your completed questionnaire with the office or your child’s teacher.

Best wishes,Penny Cox

Important information:

SATs. Next week is the week of the “SATs” tests for year 6. We are delighted with how hard the children have worked. If your child is in Year 6 please make sure that they have a good nights sleep each evening and that they eat breakfast before coming into school. We will do everything to make the week as comfortable as possible for the children.

Bring a man to school day. Please remember that if you are running a session on Friday for Bring a Man to School Day, you will need to come to the school office to sign in before going to the classroom.

Chaplain’s Corner: At the end of the Stratford race, I crossed over the the River Avon on a disused railway bridge and was reminded of the words from Hebrews 12 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” This image of the heroes of faith cheering us on in our lives was a great encouragement to me and help me press on to the finishing line!!
