Holy Trinity Newsletter

Dear Parents and Carers,Thank you so much to Dolphin Class for their lovely assembly on Friday. We really loved your songs and moves!

Alison Bateman’s two visits to the school have gone extremely well and the staff team are feeling very positive about her taking over the leadership of Holy Trinity in September.

I’m very excited about the summer fair this weekend – please do come along and support – it is always so lovely to see the children having fun together. We are thrilled that Marsh and Parsons are sponsoring the event this year.

Best wishes,Penny Cox

Important information:

Bank holiday 8th May 2020 – please note that the government have changed the date of this May Bank Holiday from the 4th May, in order to mark VE Day.

School Uniform – now is the time to do a check on school uniform. Remember that training shoes for PE should be plain white, black or navy blue.  As of September, all children should be wearing our smart new PE tops.

KS2 Sports Event. This is being held tomorrow morning on our site not Christ’s School playing fields, children need to wear their PE kits to school. As we have other lessons going on, I’m afraid that we won’t be able to accommodate parent spectators.

Chaplain’s CornerIsaiah 52:7 says “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, Your God reigns!”It's interesting to me that there are many characters in the bible who made a habit of traveling up on the mountains.  Having just returned from Scotland with some friends walking in the hills of the Highlands; I was reminded of the ruggedness and the beauty of the mountain top, but also that it’s in the valley where life grows and lives!
