Nursery

In Rainbow class, we strive to spark a love of learning and create a happy, engaging learning experience for all our children. Our Nursery offers both 15 hours and 30 hours provision for our 3-4 year olds.

Early Years Foundation Stage

The ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ (EYFS) is the statutory curriculum, covering the learning and development from birth to five. At Holy Trinity, we value the importance that the EYFS plays in laying secure foundations for future learning and development. Learning through play is key to the development of young children and we provide rich, creative learning opportunities that capture children’s interest, engaging and motivating them to develop skills through a graduated approach.

Our school values

We value each child as a unique individual and by providing rich and engaging learning experiences, aim to ignite a lifelong love of learning and equip them with the tools and knowledge to fulfil their potential. In keeping with our Christian foundation, we nurture the values of aspiration, love and community and encourage the children to discover and develop their gifts and talents so that they can make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Learning through play

In our setting we follow a child centred approach and explore using our continuous provision. Throughout each half term, we have different topics to explore, alongside small adult led groups and our free-flow learning. We cover all areas of the Early Years curriculum and ensure the children leave the Nursery full of amazing memories and feeling confident and ready for school.
