Information for parents/ carers, staff and visitors
Holy Trinity CE Primary School operates a School Travel Plan (STP) to support the use of sustainable transport.
SCHOOL STREET SCHEME: Carrington Road is closed to traffic and has operational cameras during the following times:
8:25am-9:10am
3:00pm-3:45pm
This reduces traffic risk and pollution for our children and families and creates a safer environment where we encourage everyone to walk, scoot or cycle to school. More info at: https://www.richmond.gov.uk/school_streets_faq
Holy Trinity is well served by public transport, with good rail and bus links only a short walk away.
WALKING TO SCHOOL: Holy Trinity has two pedestrian entrances: one is at the main gate on Carrington Road (just off Manor Road), and the other is at the Sheen Road entrance, which is down the alleyway that runs alongside the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church boundary. Both entrances are controlled by a buzzer system that goes through to either the school office or to the Kingfisher club (the after school club).
CYCLISTS: We have designated parking spaces for cycles.
LOCAL BUS ROUTES: The nearest bus stops are a short walk away on Sheen Road / Upper Richmond Road.
Main bus routes:
33 (Richmond – Sheen – Barnes – Hammersmith)
337 (Richmond – Sheen – Putney – Clapham Junction)
493 (Richmond – Sheen – Roehampton)
TRAIN: The nearest rail station is North Sheen, five minutes walk from the school. The service is operated by SouthWest Trains on the main Waterloo – Richmond – Twickenham line.
CAR: We recommend you use alternative methods of transport than the car but realise that sometimes this isn’t possible. On street car parking is possible on Carrington Road subject to availability, but please note this a residential street. There is no parking available for parents on the school site.
