Paula Frew

Local Authority governor

Paula became a Governor in January 2024. Both of her sons attended Holy Trinity many years ago and she has many happy memories of that time. Paula’s husband was Chairman of Friends and Paula made a Holy Trinity Cookery book (still much in use at home) to be sold to raise money for the school.

Paula has sung alto in the choir at Christchurch, East Sheen for many years and has also for some time been the church Safeguarding Officer, on the PCC and led prayers.

Until a few years ago Paula was a primary adviser in literacy for Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.

Her main role was offering CPD and advice on phonics, teaching reading and writing and language development, to teachers and parents, mainly in primary schools.

Paula is keen to use the chance to use her education experience in a slightly different role as a Governor at Holy Trinity.
