Dear Parents and Carers 24/11/2022

Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition

We are very proud and pleased to announce that Erin Tam (year 3) is the winner of the Mayor and Leaders Christmas
Card Competition and Sophie Simonova (year 4) and Phineas Thornhill (year 5) are runners up. All are invited to have
tea with the Mayor in December.

Maths Medal

Samuil Valchev from Swan class won a silver medal in the semi-final round of the Thailand International Mathematical
Olympiad (TIMO), held on November 6th. He will take part in the final round of this prestigious Olympiad next April.

Parent Governor elections

As one of our parent Governors will be stepping down at Christmas time, we will soon be holding an election for
another parent governor. If you think you might be interested and would like to find out more, you would be welcome
to attend the next Full Governing Body Meeting as an observer at 6.15pm on 5th December and/or have a chat to our
Chair of Governors, Michele Marcus mmarcus@htprimary.com. Do let us know if you plan to attend the meeting. We
will be asking for candidates to submit their personal statements before the end of term.

Mufti Day

Tomorrow is mufti day. Your child can wear their own clothes in exchange for chocolates for the Christmas Fair
tombola. No nuts please.
