Dear Parents and Carers
Parent Consultation Meetings.
Parent Consultation Meetings will take place in the school hall on Wednesday 8th February 2pm-7pm (break 4.30 –
5pm). For those of you who have not yet booked, please do so via ParentMail. If you are going to find meeting at this
time a struggle, do speak to the teacher and they will try to accommodate you at another time or online.
Welcome to the classroom.
Next Friday morning, 10th February, classrooms will be ‘open’ for you to come in and share your child’s learning. Once
the children have been registered, the classroom doors will be open between 9-10am for you to drop in. If you have
more than one child you are welcome to each of their classrooms.
Routine appointments
Could you please make routine medical and dental appointments for your child outside of the school day or during
holidays where possible. There seems to be an increasing number of children being collected during lesson time which
disrupts both the teaching and the learning in your child’s classroom. For any appointments that are made in school
time, you will be asked to provide the appointment letter to the office in advance. Children must be collected from the
front office and not directly from the classroom.
Nursery applications
Applications for nursery enrolment in September 2023 close on March 3 rd . If your child was born between 01/09/2019
and 31/08/2020 and you are interested in them joining our nursery, please come to the office for an application form
or download one from our website. We also need to take a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport. Offers
will be sent out on 5 th May.
Online Safety
It is important that we all make sure that children and young people are aware of the dangers of the internet. The UK
Safer Internet Centre has put together a short film (one and a half minutes) highlighting how awareness of internet
dangers is vital to the lives of your children and how to have conversations with them about this.
