I hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday on Monday and any Coronation celebrations that you were involved in. It was
lovely to see so many of you at our Coronation picnic and to hear the children all singing together.

Year 6 SATs

Year 6 are sitting their SATs this week. We are really proud of how they have approached these. Last Friday, the Faith
Group organised a special time for year 6 to think and pray about this week – they were also sent home with a care
package containing hot chocolate, marshmallows, a biscuit and some mindful colouring.
School Trip – Barnes Children's Literature Festival 2023
We are fortunate to have been allocated tickets to see a variety of best-selling, inspirational and engaging authors
perform at this year's Barnes Children's Literature Festival! The festival will be running the week commencing the 19th
of June 2023. This year's exciting authors include: Frank Cotrell Boyce, Katie and Kevin Tsang, Jeffrey Boakye and Abi
Elphinstone, to name a few! Further information will follow via Parent Mail, with a hard copy also being sent home.

News from our Refill Rescue team

Would you like to help us save the planet? We are a team of children taking part
in a Pupil Profit Refill Project striving to tackle climate change, and ecological
emergencies, and be part of the UK’s low-carbon targets through a School ECO
Refill shop. We hope to run the Eco Refill business to help our community to
reuse containers and throw away less plastic. Imagine how much plastic waste
you’ll save if everyone refills!! Well, imagination is no longer necessary. We hope
that you will enjoy our services and will soon become one of our customers.
The shop will operate every second and fourth Friday of each month located on
the 3G between 3.30 and 3.50pm. Please bring your own 500ml bottles and
enough cash to purchase the products. We will be selling the following:

National Mental Health Week
