Chris Milsom
Parent governor
Chris was elected parent governor in December 2022 and is grateful for the opportunity to “give back” while ensuring HT is in the best place it can be for years to come. An education and equalities barrister by profession means Chris brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the governing body. He says he finds the meetings “collegiate” and is impressed by the range of expertise HT’s governors bring to the table. He is the SEN governor and sits on the Teaching & Learning committee. Growing up in Somerset, Chris attended the village CofE primary and still has fond memories of Ms Welsh who taught him to read. By way of discovering Vikings, dinosaurs and pirates, he credits his first teacher as giving him a life-long love of literature.
