I hope you all had an enjoyable half term and were able to make the most of the good weather.
Borough Sports

Borough Sports took place at St Mary’s University Campus for year 6 pupils yesterday. Nine of our children
represented us; we are so proud of their efforts. They all competed with a fantastic attitude, worked well as a team
and produced some outstanding individual performances.
Sports Day
Weather permitting, Sports Day will take place on Friday 30th June. Early Years and Key Stage 1 will be in the morning
and Key Stage 2 in the afternoon. You are all welcome to come and cheer the children on.
Mufti Days for Summer Fair
There will be three mufti days prior to the Summer Fair which is taking place on Saturday 24th June. The first one of
these is tomorrow and the PTA would like you to send in bottles for the bottle tombola. Subsequent mufti days will be
16th June for chocolates and 23rd June for homemade cakes. Many thanks for your support with this.
Parent questionnaire – last chance!
If you haven’t already done so, we would be grateful if you could find the time to complete the annual questionnaire.

Completed questionnaires go into a prize draw for a £30 M&S voucher so add your name and phone number at the
end if you would like to be included as responses are anonymous. Your feedback is greatly appreciated even if you
completed it last year as we like to compare one year to the next.

Leavers
If there are any parents with children in Reception to Year 5 who are leaving the school at the end of term, please
confirm this with Mrs Prendergast (lprendergast@htprimary.com) in the office as soon as possible alongside the name
of the school your child will be joining and your new address if applicable. Richmond Admissions are asking for our
projected numbers in each year group so that they are in a position to start making offers to other children. Many
thanks.
School meals
Our kitchen manager is reporting that our meal numbers have been consistently incorrect recently. If your child
normally has a packed lunch, they cannot have a school meal on days when they might like a specific choice on the
menu. Conversely, if your child normally has a school meal, they can’t bring a packed lunch occasionally. If you would
like to change your child’s meal arrangement please give a week’s notice at the office.
Safeguarding Measure – reminder
Both of our school gates are open 8.40 – 9.00am and 3.10 – 3.50pm each day. Going forward, apart from these times
we will only be allowing entry to the school site via the Carrington Road gate and would ask you to exit this way too if
you are on site during the school day. We have been advised to do this as an additional safeguarding measure due to
the length of time the gate remains open after being activated by staff in the office. Please don’t ask the office staff to
make any exceptions. If someone is collecting / dropping off on your behalf please make them aware of this.
Arrangements remain the same for Kingfisher Club and Nursery lunchtime drop off and pick up.

Holy Trinity Church Holiday Club – Bookings are now OPEN!

Holy Trinity Church are really looking forward to our holiday club this summer, which will run 9.30am to 12.30pm,
from Tuesday 29th August to Friday 1st September. Open to all primary school-aged children (reception to yr 6), it will
be four fun, action-packed mornings of singing, drama, crafts, games and learning about Jesus!
The cost is £20 for the first child and £15 for each additional sibling, and some bursary spaces are also available.
