Helen Taylor
Foundation governor
Helen joined the governing body in 2021 as a foundation governor and has been impressed by the passion and vision the teachers she has met have for their subjects. An experienced teacher herself in a variety of secondary schools, her subject is Science, and she is also involved in leadership and management so has a wealth of expertise to offer. She chairs the Teaching & Learning committee and is the Link Governor for Science and also Wellbeing. An inspiring teacher called Mrs Horth from her primary days taught her to have a sense of pride in her schoolwork, something she tries to instil in her own pupils also.
