1.When did you become a Governor for HT? October 2025
2. Why did you decide to apply for this role? I can add value to the school in the role given my years as a marketing professional and as a teacher.
3. What is your church involvement? My wife is a practicing Catholic. We brought our kids up in the Catholic faith. I feel strongly that Christian values are an excellent framework in which to bring up kids and I am impressed by Holy Trinity’s inclusion of all faiths as a church school.
4. What is your background / field of expertise? I spent 25 years working in marketing before 8 years building new start-up businesses and guiding them through the fledging years. Towards the end of my working career I became a Buisness Studies Teacher. A position I enjoyed greatly, bringing my life experience to the students learning.
5. How is being a governor a positive experience? I enjoy working in the school environment and continuing to work with educators. I enjoy the sense of achievement from contributing to the success of my local school and its community.
6. Do you have any strong memories from your primary school days? The playground and school surroundings were a fond highlight, Holy Trinity is equally blessed with wonderful surroundings to enrich the children’s active learning.
