Newsletter 19th May

Dear Parents and Carers 19/05/2022
Year 1

Linked to their studies of the Victorian seaside, year 1 had some very special visitors on Friday and had a wonderful
day at the beach on Tuesday. They paddled in the sea, built some sandcastles and thoroughly enjoyed
themselves. Thank you to the parent helpers who went along and were absolutely amazing.
Jubilee Picnic
Our children will all be having a Jubilee Picnic next Wednesday afternoon. Do please send them in with a suitable small
snack for the occasion. If you are able to join us next Wednesday, please come to the school office between 1.45 –
2.00 to sign in. You will then need to walk around the outside of school to join the children on the hard surface at 2pm.
Please bring a snack and drink for yourself if you would like to. The gates will need to be locked after 2pm as all our
staff will be at the picnic. The picnic will be finished by 3pm and the children will then go back to class and the school
day will finish at the normal time. If the weather is wet, we will postpone the picnic until 8th June.
Family Fun Day

Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising a truly fun day last Saturday and to the super cyclists who made it all
the way to Brighton. The sponsorship and day raised over £5k!

Parent Questionnaire
Please find the link below to our annual questionnaire. We would be very grateful if you found the time to complete it.
The deadline is 7th June and if you include your name and contact details you stand the chance of winning a £30
voucher.
