Newsletter 30th March 2023

ear Parents and Carers 30/03/2023

Happy Easter

Tomorrow is the last day of the Spring term. The whole school will be walking down to church for our Easter Service at 9.30am – all are welcome to attend. School will end at 2.15pm and there will be no Kingfisher Club. I hope you all have a very happy Easter and enjoy the break.

Easter Egg Competition

Thank you to all the children who brought in their entries for the International themed Easter Egg Competition today ready to be judged by our Chair of Governors – an unenviable task! Here are some of the entries.  All those who entered will receive a small prize but the key stage winners and overall winner will be announced in Celebration Assembly tomorrow and they will receive their Easter egg prize then.

International Day

International Day was launched by a wonderful assembly led by year 4 who had researched the number of languages spoken in our school and filmed them being spoken. They modelled costumes from around the globe and Mr Hambling was a willing volunteer to try some of the delicious food that parents in year 4 had made. I felt very privileged to be part of such a diverse community.

Firemen visit Reception

Reception class felt very lucky that the fire brigade didn’t have an emergency call and were able to visit our school on Tuesday. The children thoroughly enjoyed looking at the fire engine and trying out all the equipment including their hose

Hampton Court Visit

Year 3 on their visit to Hampton Court today.

Thank you for the music

A big thank you to Tesia Harrison who has taught music to most children during their time at Holy Trinity. Tesia is stepping back from her curriculum responsibilities but will continue to run Orchestra, Rock Bands and Mini Maestros at Holy Trinity so this will definitely not be her final performance.
