honour of King Charles’s coronation. If you are able to join your child, please bring a small snack to have on this
occasion or if you are unable to attend, please send one in with your child on the day.
Year 2 at Kew Gardens
On Thursday 20th April, Year 2 went on a school trip to Kew Gardens. We took part in a 'Plant Hunters' activity where
we had to investigate the different types of flowers, trees and other plants that come from different countries and can
also be found in Kew Gardens. We also looked at how plants and trees grow and survive in different habitats. We were
taken on a tour of Kew Gardens, looking at the glass and the palm house and even got to play in the children's
playground! It was a great day and linked wonderfully to our Science learning.
