Dear Parents and Carers 04/05/2023
Coronation of King Charles III
Just a reminder that school will not be open on Monday because of the special bank holiday. Also, we will be opening
our gates to parents to join us tomorrow (2.30 – 3.15pm) for a picnic in honour of King Charles’s coronation. If you are
able to join your child, please bring a small snack to have on this occasion or if you are unable to attend, please send
one in with your child on the day. Children will go back to their classrooms at the end of the picnic and will be
dismissed at the usual times.
Thank you to those who entered the Coronation themed art competition – here is a small sample. The winners were
announced in Celebration Assembly today.
Swimming Medals
Well done to Lucas who represented the school in the Richmond Rise Swimming Gala. Lucas won silver in both of his

School Street
Just a reminder that whilst vehicle movements are significantly reduced within the School Streets, there are still
exempt vehicles, cyclists and other road users. Safe walking, cycling and driving should still be applied and the highway
code followed. If anyone feels they would benefit from a cycling refresher course, the borough offers these free.
School Streets will not operate on the bank holidays (including the 8 th ). Signs will remain open, but PCN’s will not be
issued.
