Dear Parents and Carers 02/11/2023
We are pleased to have retained the Transport for London Travel for Life Gold Award as a result of our engagement
with the community to reduce the number of journeys made by car every day and to transform travel habits. Thank
you for your ongoing support with this.
Coffee Morning
We are having a coffee morning after drop off on Tuesday 7th November (9-10am) to bring together and strengthen
our diverse cultures and languages at HT. This is a great opportunity to network with other families, build links and feel
supported within our community. Please come to reception at 9am if you would like to join us. Best wishes, Miss
Ashby
Outdoor PE
Even in the winter months, we like to get the children outdoors for their PE lessons. Mr Callaghan has asked if you
could ensure that your child has a suitable lightweight, waterproof jacket to wear over their PE kit. Some of the coats
being worn currently are limiting their movement by either being too long or too thick. Many thanks!
'Cut Your Carbon' Challenge.
This month, Holy Trinity has joined Eco-Schools in their month-long ‘Cut your Carbon’ Challenge. Taking place
throughout November 2023, the campaign challenges young people and their families to complete simple actions that
will reduce their carbon footprint. Cut Your Carbon is a great way to learn more about the carbon emissions
connected to everyday life and how we can reduce them by making small manageable changes. Please encourage
and support your children to become responsible and informed citizens. Mrs Ahmed.

Primary-age children who have not received MMR vaccination are encouraged to book an appointment at the

Measles is a highly infectious illness and can make your child seriously unwell. The free MMR vaccine is a safe and
effective way of protecting against measles, as well as mumps and rubella. Hounslow and Richmond Community

Richmond and Kingston who have not yet received their MMR vaccinations. If your child has missed their first or
second dose of the MMR vaccine, book an appointment at the upcoming clinic. Date: Friday 15 December 2023, 15:00
– 16:30. Location: Centre House, 68 Sheen Lane, Sheen, SW14 8LP. To book an appointment at the clinic, please phone
the immunisation call centre on 0208 487 1730.

Unwanted Winter Coats?
Every year, Calling London collects winter coats and jackets, in both adult and children’s sizes, and then distributes
them to over 30 charitable organisations – helping the homeless, victims of domestic abuse, those living in poverty, the
elderly, refugees and children. Between 23rd October – 20th November your local Chestertons branch, in East Sheen
and all of the Chestertons London branches become donation points for the public to drop off for these coats and
jackets. You can read more here: http://www.chestertons.co.uk/chestertons-coat-drive
