Friday 19th September 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope everyone has had a lovely week at Holy Trinity. I’ve been fortunate to join the team on the Isle of Wight for the year 6 residential. We’ve had some wonderful visits and experiences and a mixture of weather! The children have been amazing, and have consistently shown our values of love, aspiration and community. The staff at Osborne House were particularly impressed with their historical knowledge and behaviour.
I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend with plenty of sleep!
Best wishes,
Mr George

Trips, visits and events |
Away on residential with Year 6 in the Isle of Wight!
Roe and Fallow class have had a wonderful week away together on their residential trip. They have visited Osbourne House, learnt about glass blowing, taken a boat trip, hunted for fossils, had fun bowling and playing crazy golf, explored HMS Victory and had lots of fun on the beach. I know they are looking forward to sharing all their stories with you when they return today!
Year 5 visit the Science Museum
Yesterday, Year 5 enjoyed an exciting trip to the Science Museum in London. They took part in a Wonderlab experiment, where they explored fascinating facts about light and forces through hands-on activities. The highlight of the day was visiting the IMAX cinema to watch a thrilling 3D film all about Antarctica, which the children found both educational and hugely enjoyable.

Five Rules for Positive Group Chat Experiences
Group chats are a common way for children to connect, but they come with risks like bullying, inappropriate content, and peer pressure. Teach your child these rules for a positive experience.
- Be kind and respectful: Remind your child to treat others as they would want to be treated, even in digital spaces.
- Think before you post: Encourage them to pause and consider how their words or images might affect others.
- Avoid sharing harmful content: Teach them to never share or forward inappropriate messages, images, or videos.
- Respect privacy: Stress the importance of not sharing personal information or screenshots of others without permission.
- Know when to leave: Let them know it’s okay to leave or mute chats that make them feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
