Newsletter 24th October 2025
Friday 24th October 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
We welcomed Matt from Holy Trinity church to our Collective Worship on Monday. We explored Goodness as the last part of our Fruits of The Spirit theme we have been following since we came back in September. As we look forward to a refreshing half-term break, let’s take a moment to reflect on the Goodness we’ve shared and witnessed, and how it connects to our vision: Love Learning, Love One Another, Love God. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 7:17-20 that “every good tree bears good fruit,” which means the good actions and kind words we share are evidence of the goodness in our hearts. Just as a healthy tree produces sweet apples, when we Love Learning by trying our best, Love One Another through kindness, and Love God by following his path, we are bearing good fruit! This goodness comes from God, who promises in Ezekiel 36:26-28 to give us a new heart and a new spirit, enabling us to follow his ways. Over the break, let’s try to be a “good tree” for our families and communities, showing God’s love and letting our good fruit shine! Have a wonderful and restful half-term!

Best wishes,
Mr George

Holy Trinity does Movember!

This November some staff and Governors are joining in with Movember and would love parents and carers to join them.
This annual event raises money and awareness for men’s health charities while being a bit of fun. The rules are simple – be clean shaven on 1st November and then grow away! All styles of Mos welcome! If you are keen to join the fun drop an email to fneal@htprimary.com.
We’ll keep you updated during November – look out for updates on the school social media accounts. We are going to get everyone participating together towards the end of November to compare moustaches – there might even be a prize for the best Mo….!

| Safeguarding |
As the half-term break approaches, we want to remind everyone that safeguarding remains our highest priority, both in school and at home. While you enjoy your time off, please continue to have open conversations with your children about staying safe, whether they are playing online, meeting friends, or trying new activities. Remind them of the trusted adults they can talk to if anything ever makes them feel worried or uncomfortable. Should you have any concerns about a child’s safety or well-being during the break, please remember the school’s designated safeguarding lead contact details, which are available on our website. We wish you a safe, happy, and worry-free half-term holiday!
