Newsletter 13th March 2026

Friday 13th March 2026

Website: https://holytrinityschool.org.uk/

Dear Parents and Carers,

Eils led our collective worship this week. As we continued to think about spiritual flourishing, what it is and how  we can flourish ourselves, Eils shared the creation story from Genesis. We thought about how the Bible tells us that God  created the world and everything in it so it can flourish. With everything now starting to send up green shoots in the  parks and gardens, it really does feel as if spring may be on its way and the world around us starting to flourish after the  dark winter.

Have a peaceful and enjoyable weekend,

Best wishes,

Mr George

Trips, visits and events

Some tiny visitors

Reception were joined by a few eggs at the start of the week that have hatched. It has brought great joy  to the whole school with many visitors from across the years popping down to say hello, give them a  gentle cuddle and ask inquisitive questions to help their learning and well-being.

Year 4 Brass Performance

Year 4 gave an amazing brass performance to their parents and carers this week. Over the past 8  weeks they have been receiving brass lessons from Richmond Music Trust through the Wider  Opportunities programme. We are incredibly proud of all they’ve achieved in such a short time!

Comic Relief Day

Get ready to roll out of bed and straight into school! We are inviting all students (and staff!) at HT to get cosy for a cause  as we support Comic Relief.

When: Friday, 20th March

What: Wear your appropriate PJs (or comfortable clothes – no football kits

please), favourite slippers and bring a teddy!

Why: Comic Relief funds life-changing projects and organizations in the UK and across

the world. Your contribution helps support communities facing hardship, bringing

both practical aid and a reason to smile.

How to Donate: Bring a £1 donation to school.

Thank you for your incredible support and for helping us fill the school with laughter (and very comfy footwear)!

Notices and Requests

Staffing Updates

Miss Lewis has been offered a full-time post at a local school from Easter. We have loved having her teach and support  children from across the school over the last 13 years. She has been a huge part of our community and will be missed  dearly. Please join us in wishing her all the best in her new role.

Scholastic Book Fair

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Scholastic Book Fair from Tuesday the 17th March to Friday, March 20th.  Join us in the KS1 playground, outside the Year 1 classroom, after school at 3:15 PM. All payments can be conveniently  made by scanning the QR code located on the book fair cases. We can’t wait to see you there!

This year, three of our teachers will be joining the team cycling 300km to Paris in the summer! We hope you  can support Miss Bannenberg’s, Mr Hambling’s and Mr Thomson’s efforts in any way you can, directly funding  resources for Holy Trinity School and Skylarks Charity, who support children in our community and across Richmond  with additional needs and disabilities, and their families, with much-needed free services.

Share and Care Collective

All around the country, there are people who sometimes need a little bit of extra help

buying food and toiletries for their family. Share & Care Collective is a small local charity that helps  local families with weekly supplies of food and toiletries during term time. They collect donations  from across the community and work in partnership with local primary schools to distribute our

support bags. We have agreed to host a collection box for this charity. If you would like to donate, please take your  items to Mrs Prendergast and Mrs Bell in the office. Thank you to those who are already donating.

Safeguarding

Mr George, Miss Brunt, Mrs Allard and Mrs Bell can be contacted at the school using their emails (which are on the  school website), or you can use our new safeguarding email, which is: safeguarding@htprimary.com . Our  Safeguarding Governors are Francis Neal and Helen Taylor, and they can be contacted via email using the links on the  school website, linked here.
