Friday 25th April 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
A very warm welcome back to Holy Trinity! I hope that everyone loved their Easter break, spent time with their community and aspired to do their very best in all that they do! It was lovely for me to spend time with family and friends, and, as I told everyone in our Collective Worship this morning, aspire to become a better guitarist by more practice – remember, 10,000 hours is all you need to become an expert!
After a shorter week than normal, have a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes,
Mr George

HT in Bloom
The Eco Team is excited to launch a new whole-school project: HT in Bloom!
Our mission is to make our school grounds even more wildlife-friendly by creating more spaces for pollinators—especially bees, who need our help due to habitat loss.
Every child at HT will have the chance to nurture their own seedlings and eventually care for a dedicated flower bed. Not only will this help local wildlife thrive, but studies also show that gardening is fantastic for both physical and mental wellbeing.
We hope that when our flowers are in full bloom, we’ll be able to invite parents in to enjoy our beautiful school gardens!
To get started, each class will receive compost, seedling trays, and wildflower seeds.
How you can help:
- Do you have any spare wildflower seeds or plants that need thinning? We’d love any donations!
- Are you a keen gardener? We’d love your support and expertise—please get in touch if you’d like to get involved.
- Thank you! Jo Walder jwalder@htprimary.com

Safeguarding |
This week, we’d like to remind you about staying safe online. Although we have a very effective filter system in school, home devices will not be protected by this. We recommend you install filters and adult controls on all devices used by your children.
For further advice, please have a look at the NSPCC site on Online Safeguarding.

Richmond Furniture Scheme
We are Richmond Furniture Scheme, a small local charity who sell donated furniture, refurbished appliances and new beds at reasonable prices with discounts for people on low incomes. We also work with other local charities and Richmond, Hounslow and Wandsworth councils who provide grants which can be spent with us.
Everyone is very welcome to shop with us online and in person – we have a great range of preloved furniture and appliances. We’re saving the planet, one sofa and fridge at a time! And if anyone would like to donate furniture get in touch here.
