Friday 13th June 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
It was lovely to see so many of you at the HT In The Park concert last week. Considering the wet days on either side, we were so lucky with the weather. Well done to all the children, staff and parents who took part in such a wonderful community event. This week, Sue joined us for our Monday Collective Worship, where she explored the ideas surrounding Pentecost as part of our journey with God. Let’s hope for good weather this weekend so that we can enjoy the sunshine. Do have a wonderful time.
Best wishes,
Mr George

International Day – 27th June
We are really looking forward to celebrating our rich, diverse community through our International Day on Friday 27th June. Year 4 will start the day off with an assembly, and then we will have a variety of activities run in classes throughout the day. If you would like to come in and lead any activities, please do let your class teachers know. We would love to have lots of Mystery Readers in – please let your class teachers or class reps know if you would like to come in and share a story or some poetry with a class.
The children can wear clothes that reflect international dress for the day – just no football kits, please.
At 2:45pm, the school will take part in a parade outside, a chance for us to celebrate our different community links. This will be followed by a small picnic and some dancing. Parents are welcome to join us from 2:45pm.
Things to remember:
International theme dress can be as simple as colours (or uniform).
Bring in a small healthy snack and a drink clearly labelled for the picnic.

Leavers
If there are any parents with children in Reception to Year 5 who are leaving the school at the end of term, please contact Mrs Prendergast (lprendergast@htprimary.com) for a leaver’s form. Peacock Theatre | 3-6 July 2025
Madeleine Marais (in Year 5) will be performing with the London Children’s Ballet in their production of Ella’s Big Chance: A Jazz-Age Cinderella in the West End. A huge achievement – we are very proud of her!
The ballet is based on the classic fairytale Cinderella but with an unexpected twist. Adapted from Shirley Hughes children’s story Ella’s Big Chance and set in the glamorous 1920s with fabulous costumes, accompanied by a live orchestra.
