Dear Year 6,
As you prepare to take your KS2 SATs, we wanted to take a moment to speak from the heart.
First and foremost, we are proud of you. Proud of your hard work, your progress, and the way you’ve approached your learning with determination and resilience. SATs are a chance for you to show what you’ve learned, but they do not define who you are.
These tests will never measure your kindness, your creativity, your sense of humour, or the way you help others when they need a friend. They can’t show how brilliantly you play sports, paint, sing, dance, or lead. They can’t capture your personality, your dreams, or the effort you put in every single day.
So, as you go into SATs week, remember this: all we ask is that you try your best. That’s all anyone can ever ask of you.
Make sure to get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and come in with a smile. You’re not doing this alone — your teachers, friends, and family are all here cheering you on every step of the way.
And when the tests are over? There’ll still be plenty of Year 6 memories to make — fun times, celebrations, and the excitement of looking ahead to secondary school.
You’ve got this.
Believe in yourself. We already do.
With best wishes,
The Holy Trinity Staff Team
