Dear Parents and Carers 16/11/2023
Welcome to the classroom.
Tomorrow morning, 17th November, classrooms will be ‘open’ for you to come in and share your child’s learning.
Once the children have been registered, the classroom doors will be open between 9-10am for you to drop in. If you
have more than one child you are welcome to each of their classrooms during the hour.
Tomorrow is a wear your own clothes day in exchange for bringing in bottles for the Christmas Fair. This supports our
bottle tombola stall, there will be containers at each of the classrooms as you drop your children off, thank you in
advance for your donations!
Christmas Fair Lucky Dip
Thank you to those pupils and parents who have kindly donated items for the JLT Lucky Dip stall at the Christmas Fair.
There is still time to donate so if you have any small toys that are in a good condition, please leave them at the school
office or take them directly to Mr Auton in Woodpecker Class. We will be very grateful for any donations received.
Thank you in advance from Mr Auton and the Junior Leadership Team.
Reverse Advent Calendar
School will be running the Reverse Advent Calendar again this year to donate toys to the Salvation Army Christmas
Present Appeal. Your child will be given a date to bring in a gift to put into the Reverse Advent Calendar box in their
classroom. A letter with more information about this will be sent out through Parentmail.
Community Christmas Choir
Holy Trinity Church are again organising a community choir to sing at their Candlelit Carol Service on 17th December –
we did this last year and had great fun! So, if you would like to join in with singing several traditional carols plus some
choir performance items, or would like to know more info, then please contact Matt Osgood via
matt.osgood@htrichmond.org.uk. Music reading is helpful but not essential as recordings of all parts will be provided.

Message from the PTA
There’s just over 1 week to go until the fair on Saturday 25 th November, between 11:30am and 3:30pm. It provides a
great opportunity for the whole school community to get together for some food, drinks and laughs – we’re looking
forward to seeing you all there. If you are coming please get involved, support your class rep’s and spend some time
on the stalls. It’s genuinely great to see how much the kids love and engage with each stall and to be a part of the day.
Donations – Teddy’s, Toy’s, No Parents Allowed and JLT Lucky Dip
There’s still time to create some space at home and recycle some of those toys, teddies and gifts that are no longer
used or wanted. Equally, a great re-gifting opportunity! There are collection bins by the front entrance of the school by
the bike stands, all donations appreciated!
Fair Entry Tickets and Tokens
Avoid the queues on the day and get your entry tickets and tokens ahead of time. All of the stalls will be cashless and
require tokens with the exception of the bar and BBQ where there will be a card machine. Please save yourself some
time and buy ahead – full details and purchase options at the link below:
